Knowledge Acquisition to Community Involvement in ASEAN

In the spring of 2024, CKC had inspiring activities to discover geographys, data science and technology development of ASEAN.
CKC and SOLEN had the first meeting through an online knowledge-sharing session on Southeast Asian Geography facilitated by Philip Thomas – CKC’s Strategic Advisor. This is one of four cooperation activities between CKC and SOLEN in 2024. The session has also launched a series of capacity strengthening activities for CKC’s staff with the desire to contribute to the organisation and the community’s overall sustainable growth.
The second knowledge-sharing series enabled CKC to connect with 11 other organizations from ASEAN countries in unravelling the topics of data science, technology, and data analysis. This activity is organised by the ASEAN Foundation within the ASEAN Data Science Explorers (ASEAN DSE) program 2024. Our spring of 2024 was filled with incredible experiences; there will be even more this summer.

The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. We forge a better world by inspiring others to understand and value women’s inclusion. In line with this year’s campaign theme, CKC organised a captivating activity – a Pottery Workshop. This workshop offered a dynamic avenue for participants to unleash their creativity, providing a platform for each woman to showcase her unique talents and characteristics.

Through this initiative, CKC aimed to celebrate the diverse talents and colors of women’s capabilities, promoting the inclusion of women with various abilities, talents, and traits towards forging a more equitable society.

Additionally, this event served as a platform for CKC to extend a heartfelt shout-out to all girls and women who have contributed to and engaged with our activities. Let’s embrace International Women’s Day and spread the message of ‘Inspire Inclusion.’
