TAM GIANG – CAU HAI LAGOON: Folk Culture and Local Knowledge as a Resource for Community-based Ecotourism

On 4 January 2023, CKC launched the “Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon: Folk Culture and Local Knowledge as a Resource for Community-based Ecotourism” publication. The bilingual book is a collection of knowledge on cultural values, heritage, and folk stories of the Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon. The Writer Le Vu Truong Giang, community researchers, and the CKC team worked with the publication for nearly two years. In addition to the book publication, CKC also introduced to communities, representatives of governmental agencies, universities, and travel agencies a bilingual brochure introducing typical cultural features and tourism activities of the lagoon and a short film capturing the images of the local’s simple life, with the majestic scenery of the Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon.
