AI BUNG NO SEASON 2 – “WARM UP THE WINTER” REACHED 150 TA RIENG ETHNIC MINORITY PUPILS

Returning from a 18-hour journey to the mountains of Nam Giang district, on 16 January 2024, “Cai bung no” could hand-deliver small gifts to 150 Ta Rieng ethnic minority pupils in the La Dêê – Đắc Tôi boarding primary school in Nam Giang District, Quang Nam province.

After five days of launching the campaign, “Cai bung no” season 2 received the total support of VND 26,110,000, including:
🌿 Contributions from other individuals and organisations:
– Gift donation: 50kg of warm clothes, shoes, wool hats, and warm towels; and 100 new pairs of socks
– Financial support: VND 11,506,227 (converted into 86 new warm coats and 50 pairs of new socks)
🌿 Contribution from CKC: VND 14,603,773 (converted into 64 warm coats and all costs for implementing the activity)

All gifts were carefully packaged and classified by CKC team according to pupils’ age, gender, and needs.

“Cai bung no” season 2 is honored to be a part of the “Volunteering Spring 2024” programme, co-implemented with Quang Nam College and Youth Unions of Nam Giang and Dai Loc Districts. The programme encompasses six components, including:

  • Awarding scholarships,
  • Giving warm clothes,
  • Supporting solar lights,
  • Providing bamboo rats,
  • Providing seedlings of pomelos and acacias, and
  • Presenting gifts to disadvantaged households.

CKC appreciates the companionship of individuals and organisations with the “Cai bung no” season 2 and the opportunity to co-work with Quang Nam College to “Warm up the Winter” to pupils during the 2024 Tet season. We would like to express our gratitude to all teachers in the La Dêê – Đắc Tôi ethnic boarding primary school for their contribution to light-up delights to pupils every school day.
