Launching The ‘Women-led Green Transition’ Project (PWG) in Phong Dinh Ward, Hue City

On March 17, 2026, CKC organized the Inception Conference for the “Women-Led Development of Eco-Friendly Handicraft Supply Chains for Tourism and Services in Phong Dinh Ward, Hue City” Project (PWG Phong Dinh), officially launching the women-led green transition initiative in the locality.
With the participation of nearly 100 delegates, the Conference introduced the project’s objectives, core values, and implementation approach. It also provided a platform for direct consultation between project participants and relevant stakeholders, clearly roles, commitments, and coordination mechanisms to develop an implementation plan responsive to the community’s practical needs.
To ensure the Conference’s resounding success, CKC sincerely acknowledges the valuable cooperation and support of:

- Hue City Department of Finance;
- Foreign Relations Security Division – Hue City Public Security.
- Party Committee, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Women’s Union of Phong Dinh Ward;

The “Women-Led Development of Eco-Friendly Handicraft Supply Chains for Tourism and Services in Phong Dinh Ward, Hue City” project is funded by the “Women-led Green Transition” Project (PWG) under the “Women-Led Green Partnership Program” funded by the European Union, managed by Oxfam in Vietnam, and implemented by the Center for Knowledge Co-creation and Development Research (CKC).
The Project will be implemented within 12 months in Phong Dinh Ward, Hue City, focusing on enhancing the status and capacity of local women, promoting sustainable livelihoods through production for tourism, apparel, and services.
CKC firmly believes that multi-stakeholder collaboration among government, research center, business, and community will create a green and inclusive supply chain, serving as a powerful driver for the local green transition process.
