On February 7, 2022, the Center for Knowledge Co-creation and Development Research (CKC) and UCI International Education Development and Investment Joint Stock Company (UCI) successfully launched the project “The Read-lish: English Book Corner” and delivered donated books to representatives of Huyen Khong English Center, Huong Ho ward, Hue city.

The kick-off event introduced to pupils and teachers the book corner, library guidelines and exciting upcoming activities. The event honorably welcomed the attendance of Venerable Phap Tong – Head of Huyen Khong pagoda, teachers and pupils at the Huyen Khong English Center.

“Hope that the pupils can spread their positive energy, spirit, as well as reading culture, not only to those in attendance, but also to the other pupils of the center, and more importantly, to everyone.” – shared by Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Dung, Director of UCI Company.

“The Read-lish: English Book Corner”, initiated by UCI and CKC, is a 5-year project aimed at building small and welcoming English book corners that provide useful knowledge and enhance opportunities for international integration for pupils aged 6 to 18. Through this book corner, pupils could learn about current global topics, such as environmental protection, climate change, gender equality, and mental health.
